The Restoring Internet Freedom Order requires internet service providers (ISPs) to disclose information about their network management practices, performance characteristics, and commercial terms of service.

Section 8.1 of 47 CFR Part 8 has been amended to require OMU as a provider of broadband Internet access to publicly disclose accurate information regarding its network management practices, performance characteristics, commercial terms of its broadband Internet access services.

OMU will comply with the requirements of the regulation by publicly disclosing the following information:

Network Management Practices

Blocking

OMU does NOT block or otherwise prevent internet end user access to lawful content, applications, service, or non-harmful devices.

Throttling

OMU does NOT degrade or impair access to lawful Internet traffic on the basis of content, application, service, user, or use of a non-harmful device.

Affiliated Prioritization

OMU does NOT directly or indirectly favor some internet traffic over other traffic, including techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, to benefit any affiliate.

Paid Prioritization

OMU does NOT directly or indirectly favor some traffic over other traffic, including through use of techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, in exchange for consideration, monetary or otherwise.

Congestion Management

OMU does NOT engage in any organized congestion management practices.

Application-Specific Behavior

OMU does NOT block or rate-control specific protocols or protocol ports, modified protocol fields in ways not prescribed by the protocol standard, or otherwise inhibits or favors certain applications or classes or applications.

Device Attachment Rules

Only OMU approved Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) or OMU provided Media Converters may be directly connected to our network.

OMU takes the security of our network very seriously and employs the latest technology, industry standards, and practices to ensure the integrity of our network.
