Community Cares Program

The OMU Community Cares Program helps local residents facing financial hardships to maintain essential utility services. Through a partnership with the Salvation Army, customer donations are combined with OMU’s annual contribution to create a dedicated assistance fund that supports those in our community when they need it most.

Ways to Give

There are several ways to give:

  • Make a one-time donation with your utility payment
  • Add a fixed donation amount to your monthly bill
  • Round your bill up to the nearest dollar

Find the Community Cares donation at the bottom of your OMU Combined Billing Statement.

Your Community Cares donation, along with OMU’s own contribution, is added to a fund administered by the Salvation Army, and may be tax deductible.
