OMU and the City of Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance Program are hosting the annual Golden Santa Award. This unique residential holiday lighting contest carries with it not only bragging rights, but a $250 OMU gift certificate and a lighted yard sign. Routine flushing of OMU water system to begin Monday, October 25

Owensboro Municipal Utilities crews will be conducting the utility’s semi-annual water line flush for city customers starting October 25. The flushing is expected to take approximately one week. OMUfibernet speeds double at no cost to customers

In its regular meeting on Thursday, September 16, the OMU Utility Commission approved the doubling of internet speeds for almost all OMUfibernet customers at no additional cost. OMU recently increased its bandwidth and is sharing that capacity with its internet subscribers.
