OMU water crews installed two 20-inch valves which will help isolate mains in the area across from the Plant A treatment facility and reduce our reliance on the cast-iron piping leaving that facility.
In addition, the expansion of the Cavin Water Plant will eliminate the need for the older plant which will be closed upon the completion of the project.
A boil water advisory has been lifted for the area near Plant A (next to Daviess County Middle School), was lifted at 2:10 p.m.
