In an independent survey, Owensboro Municipal Utilities recently received a 94% customer satisfaction rating for Fiscal Year 2022. The survey, conducted monthly by phone, measures customer attitudes about rates, service and reliability.
The survey also provides useful information regarding our services and ways to better serve our customers. For instance, about 33% of our customers pay online and 38% learn about things happening at OMU from bill inserts.
In the survey, we learned that the majority of customers, 98% in fact, consider OMU to be a reliable provider of electric, water and telecommunications services. A total of 97% agreed that OMU is focused on providing excellent service.
OMU conducts a survey annually. The results have a margin of error of 3.8%.
