Boil Water Order lifted for most OMU customers

As of 5:50 p.m. the Kentucky Division of Water has authorized OMU to lift the boil water order for OMU customers shown in the white area on the map included here.

However, the order remains in effect for the surrounding water districts and approximately 300 OMU customers located across from the Plant A Water Treatment Plant and main break area shown in green. The water districts are awaiting final water test results and approval for the lifting of the boil water order for the customers they serve.

The order also remains in effect for these 300 OMU customers due to ongoing work in the area which is part of the main repair and water restoration efforts.

Customers in the area across from the plant, in the area identified on the map also in green, will be without water beginning at 1 a.m. on Thursday, July 12 for approximately 7 hours while crews install a valve on a large main, which is part of this overall repair and restoration process. We apologize for this extended outage and appreciate your patience.
