Full time, Non-Civil Service position:
Production Environmental Engineer
Under the direction of the Production Technical Services Manager, develops, implements, and monitors programs necessary to ensure compliance of Elmer Smith Station with environmental laws and regulations and is responsible for monitoring the performance of the combustion and post combustion plant environmental emissions control systems. Requires substantial judgment, analytic ability and creativity, such as investigating moderately complex problems or situations, analyzing information and recommending solutions.
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Related Degree. Two years of power plant operations and environmental emissions control equipment and processes is desired but not required. Good PC skills with standard business software required. Good communication skill required. Respirator release required.
