Approximately 200 customers in the Hillcrest area are without water while crews work to repair an 8-inch main. Service is expected to be restored this afternoon. A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for those affected customers, as identified on the map below.
As a reminder, a Boil Water Advisory is simply an advisory that is issued when a water line (main) is opened whether it be for repairs or maintenance. Customers should not be concerned as this does not mean a contaminant has been identified in the water but are advised to boil water for drinking at a rolling boil for three minutes.
