Most of us don’t think much about where our water comes from or how it is treated. However, if your school or organization would like to learn more about the water treatment process, we have the perfect opportunity with a guided tour of our William R. Cavin Water Treatment Facility.
The William R. Cavin Water Treatment Facility provides water not only to our customer-owners, but also to the water districts that serve residents and businesses throughout Daviess County. The plant was recently expanded to a 30-million-gallon-per-day capacity and updated to include state-of-the-art treatment capabilities.
OMU is proud to offer this free tour to schools, churches, businesses, and other organizations throughout our area. We can tailor tours to the needs, interests, and size of your group.
- Tours should be scheduled on weekdays, to begin between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Guests are asked to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
- Please notify us if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs or rough terrain.
