OMU celebrated Halloween by hosting its annual 5K Power Run/Walk. The annual event has become a favorite among runners and walkers. The event capped off a month-long celebration of Public Power. Routine flushing of water system to begin October 5

Owensboro Municipal Utilities crews will be conducting the utility’s semi-annual water line flush for city customers starting October 5. The flushing is expected to take approximately two weeks. Crews will be working between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. each of those days and will begin on the northeast end of the city and work south and west.
