Scammers often target utility customer. Caller identification isn’t always a defense as often scammers can “ghost” or block their number. Whenever you receive a call from someone identifying as an OMU representative and have doubts or concerns, hang up and call us directly at 270-926-3200. OMU offices closed Monday

OMUfibernet maintenance work completed

Routine flushing of OMU water system to begin April 25

Owensboro Municipal Utilities crews will be conducting the utility’s semi-annual water line flush for city customers starting April 25. The flushing is expected to take approximately one week. OMU Delivery Engineering Manager Austin McLimore and Senior Transmission and Distribution Engineer Joe Janes visited IMPA’s solar farm along with area Sierra Club members, Owensboro City Commissioner Bob Glenn and several others.
