Scammers may contact utility customers; here’s how to avoid fraud

Scammers often attack during times of crisis. Some often contact utility customers threatening to disconnect services without immediate payment. As you know, OMU has temporarily discontinued disconnection for non-pay. 

OMU will never ask for vital personal information over the phone and will only take credit card information when you want to pay by phone.
