Reopening businesses should flush water lines

As local businesses begin to reopen following closures during the coronavirus crisis, they should consider flushing their water lines. Some internal customer pipes have been dormant for several weeks and could cause water to be discolored due to the build-up of sediment. Allowing faucets to run until clear with cold water for at least 15 minutes will flush the lines, remove any discoloration, sediment and related issues.
